Bucharest Medicine

The duration of study is 6 years (360 ECTS credits), after which the graduate will receive an internationally accredited diploma and a license to practice medicine.

All the medical courses are in English, but learning Romanian is recommended in order to communicate with the patients starting from the 3rd year of med school.

The Faculty collaborates with more than 20 hospitals all across Bucharest to give you a complete academic experience in the field of medicine.

Perhaps the biggest advantage in studying in Bucharest is that the students have complete access to interact with the patients and have a hands-on approach when dealing with them. That will give you the chance to perfect your practical skills, thus having a strong foundation when starting to work as a medical doctor.

Once enrolled as a student, you will be able to join the ERASMUS program, which will give you the opportunity to visit and study in other medical schools all over Europe.

After graduating from “Carol Davila” our graduates have successfully continued with their medical practice, in countries like: U.S.A, Germany, U.K, Australia, Japan, Sweden etc
